Northern Rivers Rail Trail

Since 2013, the Northern Rivers Rail Trail Supporters, a group of community volunteers, local government councillors, staff and leaders of the tourist industry, had a vision to preserve and revitalise 130km of disused rail corridor between Murwillumbah and Casino, converting it to a world class car-free corridor through the region’s spectacular landscapes.

The NRRT Supporters are the not-for-profit community arm of the Northern Rivers Rail Trail driving support at all levels, including volunteering, community events, funding and industry knowledge, donations and opportunities for community groups, maintenance and conservation projects.

Rotary and EXPO

Rotary is a global network of 1.4 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.

Solving real problems takes real commitment and vision. For more than 110 years, Rotary's people of action have used their passion, energy, and intelligence to take action on sustainable projects. From literacy and peace to water and health, we are always working to better our world, and we stay committed to the end.
