Ballina Marine Rescue
The NSW Government established Marine Rescue NSW as a charitable, volunteer organisation. It provides radio and rescue services over New South Wales with 44 units along the coast including two inland units and has over 3000 volunteers. It is also a registered training organisation ensuring that its members are trained and maintain competencies.
Ballina Surf Club First Aid
Joining a surf life-saving club can be a life-changing experience, as you learn new skills, make new friendships, and challenge yourself.
Depending on your age and skills, becoming a member of our club opens the gateway to your becoming a nipper or a cadet, a patrolling club member, or someone who assists our service as a volunteer.
New members are always welcome.
NSW DPI Fisheries
Join us at one of our FREE community Try Fishing Sessions across the state, which are open to everyone and all ages. They are a great opportunity to learn the basics of fishing, talk fishing with our Education Officers and Fishcare Volunteers and try your hand at casting a line. DPI provide all the equipment, bait and fishing advice for the day.
